We built a house on our property for my mother-in-law. Where the house is situated it receives significant runoff from the surrounding properties. We were very worried about erosion. Initially, we reached out to Shades of Green for help with landscaping and erosion control, but they were fully booked for over six months. However, they recommended Premier General Services.

I contacted Premier, and Diego came out and met with my wife and me. We discussed our erosion concerns, our need for some basic landscaping, and issues with the narrow gravel driveway that would not easily accommodate more that one vehicle or delivery truck. Diego carefully listened and agreed that erosion was a serious issue. He proposed several excellent solutions, including some we hadn't even thought of.

The plan we went with included installing a tiered set of retaining walls on the side of the house that had the worst erosion problem. He would also remove the scrub trees, expand the gravel driveway and integrate it with the retaining walls. In addition, Diego recommended grading the other sides of the house to ensure proper drainage, laying down grass sod, and installing a sprinkler system. Lastly, gutters would be added to the house and the downspouts connected to a French drain to move the water away from the house.

After agreeing to his proposal, Diego's crew was able to start the next week. The crew were great, and Diego was always available via phone or text if we had any questions. They finished in the 3 week timeframe they estimated. We are very pleased with the quality of the work, the effective communication with Diego and the final outcome of the project. It should last for many, many years. We will definitely use Diego for any future landscaping projects, and recommend his company for anyone looking for a reliable landscape company.
